For the apricot date cake with hazelnuts, preheat the oven to 175 degrees. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, clove powder and nutmeg.

Heat milk, add 50 g butter, let dissolve. Chop apricots and dates. Coarsely chop the hazelnuts. Add everything as well. Knead well with a hand mixer.

Butter a baking pan well and sprinkle with almond leaves. Pour in the dough and smooth it out. Then place in a preheated oven at 175 degrees for about 45 minutes.

Let the cake cool very well in the baking pan. Warm the apricot jam slightly. Turn the cake out of the pan and cover with the warmed apricot jam.
