For the banana casserole, cut the peeled bananas in half lengthwise and fry lightly in the butter. Strain the curd, whip it with the sugar and half the whipped cream and season with the cinnamon. Butter an ovenproof dish well and layer the fried bananas alternately with the curd mixture and pour the remaining whipped cream on top. Place the banana casserole in a medium-hot oven and bake for 20 minutes (if the top bananas turn brown, pour a little more whipped cream over them).
