Lay out roulades, season with salt/pepper, brush with mustard. Spread carrot-onion mixture evenly on top, sprinkle cheese, roll up, tie with spaghetti. Fry in oil. Roughly chop remaining onion, add and sauté. gradually add clear soup, steam with lid closed for 1 hour.
