Instructions:

For the beef soup, first briefly scald the bones in boiling water and quench in cold water.

Place in a large pot of cold water together with the spices and simmer slowly for a total of about 3 hours. After 1 1/2 hours, add the vegetables.

Strain finished soup and season with salt and homemade soup seasoning (or sprinkle seasoning from health food store).

Continue to use beef soup as desired.
