For the Beef Tatar, finely chop the cucumbers, anchovy fillets and capers. Blanch shallots briefly in boiling water, let cool and also chop finely.

Clean and cool the meat, cut it first into strips, then into fine cubes and chop finely with a chopping knife. For the marinade, mix all ingredients together well and add to the tartar and season to taste. If desired, mix gherkins, shallots, capers, anchovy fillets and mustard into the tartar and serve.

Or arrange Beef Tatar in the middle of a plate and place the chopped ingredients in small heaps all around.
