Instructions:

For the black and white cookies, first prepare the white shortbread. For the white shortbread, quickly knead the flour, cold butter, sugar and egg yolks into a dough.

Divide the dough in half and wrap in plastic wrap and let rest in the refrigerator for 1/2 hour. For the brown pastry, mix the flour with cocoa powder well and evenly and quickly knead the butter, sugar and egg yolks, divide in half and place in the refrigerator.

Roll out 1/2 portion of dough to the thickness of the back of a knife. Place the dark half on top of the light half and form into a roll. Cut thin pieces with a knife, place on a baking tray and bake at 180 degrees for about 8 minutes until golden brown.
