For the blood orange punch first squeeze the blood oranges and lemon.

Pour the tea, steep for 5 minutes and strain.

Now heat all ingredients, except the rum, together in a saucepan and boil once briefly.

Add the rum to the blood orange punch and serve hot in tea glasses.
