Chop the onion and sauté it together with the bacon cubes in a frying pan with 1 tbsp. butter. Cut the bread into cubes. Boil the milk and pour it hot over the bread cubes. Chop the kitchen herbs and add to the quantity form. Add bacon onions and eggs and mix well. Season the dumpling mixture with salt and freshly ground pepper. Form small dumplings from the mixture and cook them in boiling salted water for about 15 minutes.

Tip: Instead of white bread, you can also use pretzels.

Our tip: Use a deliciously spicy bacon for a delicious touch!
