Instructions:

Defrost puff pastry slices for 20 min. Make pudding according to package directions with milk and sugar. Cool while stirring. Cream butter and vanilla sugar until creamy. When butter and sugar have equal heat, stir pudding by tablespoonfuls into fluffy butter with electric whisk. Chill quantity. Brush one puff pastry slice at a time with egg white on the wide side, place the next slice on that edge, etc. Press all edges smooth and roll out the pastry sheet with a little flour to a size of 45×18 cm. Roll out 8-10 slices. Bake on a cold rinsed baking tray for 10 minutes at 220 °C until golden brown. Pipe the butter cream on the cooled puff pastry pieces and top with washed, pitted cherries. Leave to cool until serving.
