For the carambola compote, cut the carambola into thin slices. Put the wine in a pot and stir in the farin sugar. Bring to a boil and add the carambola.

Cook the carambola in about 5 minutes.

If necessary, bind the sauce with a little flour and leave the carambola compote to cool.
