For the carrot-leek vegetables, wash, peel and cut the carrots into small pieces. Clean the leeks, wash and cut into bite-sized rings.

Boil the vegetable soup and add the vegetables. Cook until firm to the bite. Mix the starch in some cold water and thicken the vegetable soup with it.

Season to taste with salt and pepper and fold in the chopped herbs.
