For the cherry and apricot cake, first pit and halve the cherries and apricots. Then cream the butter with the sugar until fluffy. Beat in the whole eggs and the flour.

Spread the batter on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and place the fruit evenly on top. Bake the cake for about 30-45 minutes at 180 degrees.

Be sure to test the cake with chopsticks.
