For the cherry pie, beat the snow (beat briefly, then add the granulated sugar and finish beating).

Beat the egg yolks, sugar and vanilla sugar until fluffy. Add the softened butter and continue mixing. Then add the rum and mineral water, mix through and stir in the flour.

Fold in the snow and spread into a greased, floured baking pan. Spread the pitted cherries on top and bake in the oven at about 170 °C.
