For the chili con carne, first cut the onion into small cubes. In a large saucepan, sauté the onion cubes in a little oil and brown the minced meat.

Open the lid so that the evaporating water can escape. Cut the peppers into small cubes and add them to the pot with the beans and corn. Stir everything well.

Season the sauce with some chili powder, oregano, salt and pepper and dilute with tomato paste. Finally, add ketchup to taste.

Simmer the chili con carne on low heat, the longer – the better the taste (but do not cook until mushy).
