For the chocolate almond mounds, cream together butter, salt and sugar until fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time and mix well with the mixer.

Add the chopped almonds and chocolate and finally stir in the flour sifted with the baking powder.

Place walnut-sized heaps of dough on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 160 degrees Celsius (180 degrees Celsius top/bottom heat) for about 10 minutes.
