Instructions:

For the chocolate star, heat water and soak the oatmeal in it for 15 minutes. Then mix in a high-powered blender for 4-5 minutes. Then allow to cool.

Dissolve the yeast in the room-warm oat milk. Put the flour, sugar, vanilla sugar and possibly a pinch of salt in a large bowl and mix. Form a hollow in the center.

Add the oat milk with the yeast. After a short kneading, add the margarine. Knead until a smooth dough is formed. After 15 minutes of resting, divide the dough into three equal pieces.

One by one, roll out all three until there is room for a large round plate on each. With the help of the plate, cut out round doughs. Spread some chocolate spread evenly on the first dough.

Place the second dough exactly on top and also spread with chocolate spread. Then place the third dough exactly on top.

Place a small drinking glass in the center of the “dough stack” and cut the dough all around like a pie into 16 equal pieces.

Take turns turning the strips twice to the right and twice to the left and lovingly shape them into a star. Let the star rest for 20 minutes and preheat the oven to 180 °C in the meantime.

Then bake the star for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
