Churros with Orange Chocolate Sauce

Instructions:

For the churros with orange-chocolate sauce, first boil ¾ of the cream and milk with the sugar for the sauce. Mix the remaining milk and cream with cornstarch and stir in. Simmer over low heat and pour in orange juice, bring to a boil. Stir in chocolate and Cointreau.

For the churros, bring milk, vanilla and butter to a boil. Stir in flour thoroughly until dough separates from bottom of saucepan. In a bowl, let the dough cool. When the dough has cooled slightly, gradually beat in the eggs. Pour the mixture into a piping bag and pipe 5-6 cm long snakes onto a baking paper.

Heat the clarified butter to 160 °C and bake the churros until golden. Remove from the fat and let them drain on a paper towel. Sugar.

Serve the churros with orange-chocolate sauce.
