Completely debone the cod fillet and cut into six immediately large pieces. Chop kitchen herbs and garlic very finely in a hand mixer or with a kitchen knife and mix with olive oil. Season the fish pieces with pepper, place them in the herb oil and let them sit for 2 hours.
Then wrap each piece of fish in a slice of smoked ham and put three pieces on a skewer.
Roast the skewers at moderate temperature in a frying pan with olive oil on both sides for 3-4 minutes.
Arrange the cod skewers and serve with baguette.
Our tip: As an alternative to fresh herbs, you can also use frozen ones – these also stand out for their fresh taste!
