Instructions:

(*) One recipe yields about 500 g of butter.

Pour the softened butter into a large bowl and mix with an electric mixer on high speed until it turns a pale yellow color. Scrape butter mixture repeatedly from sides.

Add coarsely chopped sugar, cranberries, honey, ground walnuts, Cumberland sauce and orange and lemon zest.

Stir at medium speed until mixture turns slightly pink.

Pour in the buttermilk and continue beating until it is absorbed into the mixture.

Restaurants in Washington state where the delicious cranberries grow. The sweet and sour combination is delicious with waffles, muffins, scones and pancakes.

Tip: Always use an aromatic ham, it will add a wonderful touch to your dish!
