For the cream of kohlrabi and carrot soup, heat oil in a saucepan. Peel kohlrabi and save the fine small leaves. Dice onion and kohlrabi. Dice half a kohlrabi especially nicely and save.

Sauté onion cubes and kohlrabi pieces in hot oil, peel carrots and cut into pieces, also save a handful, add the rest to the kohlrabi and sauté.

Pour in the soup and season, then simmer for about 15 minutes, then puree. Add the remaining carrot and kohlrabi pieces to the pureed soup, simmer for a few minutes and serve.
