Mix eggs, butter, curd cheese and powdered sugar. Cut the white bread into small cubes and mix well with the flour, vanilla sugar and lemon zest into the curd mixture. Form dumplings from the mixture and put them into boiling water. Cook on low heat until tender. Roll the finished dumplings in butter crumbs and sprinkle with powdered sugar.

All kinds of compote go well with it.
