Instructions:

Stir pudding powder with 2 tablespoons milk until smooth.

In a saucepan, bring the remaining milk to the boil, whisk in the pudding powder and bring to the boil briefly over low heat, remove from the heat and allow to cool.

Finely grate marzipan and stir into the pudding. Remove the seeds from the dates, cut into small pieces and stir into the cream.

Season the date-marzipan spread with rum.
