Instructions:

Place the dates in lukewarm water, peel in half and remove the seeds. Then cut the date flesh into small cubes.

Mix the date cubes with the nuts and season heartily with cinnamon and brandy.

Place the strudel dough on top, brush with melted butter and then place a second strudel sheet on top. Cover two thirds of the strudel dough with a thin layer of date filling and then roll it up. The strudel should not be thicker than 4 to 5 cm. Then brush with melted butter. Place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Preheat the oven to 220 °C.

Cocoon the pomegranate sauce, add the sugar and simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes. Cut the pomegranate in half and with a spoon

with a spoon.

Peel the oranges with a kitchen knife and remove the individual fillets. Add the pomegranate seeds and orange fillets to the hot sauce and season with Grand Marnier.

Cut the strudel into 3 cm thick pieces. Then sprinkle with powdered sugar and bring to the table with the pomegranate sauce.
