Perhaps your new favorite bean dish:

Stir the lentils through with the savory and stir into the water. Bring to a boil and simmer gently for about 20 min. until mushy. After 10 minutes of cooking, add the onion cut into very small pieces. Towards the end of the cooking time, add salt and spices. Transfer the mixture into a glass jar and pour olive oil over it.

Tastes great as a topping for bread (warm or cooled).
