Instructions:

A bean recipe for every taste:

Saute Cajun vegetables in half the butter until soft, add garlic and saute briefly, remove vegetables and set aside. Stir-fry liver and mince for 2-3 min, mashing lumps with fork. Add vegetables and simmer for 2-3 minutes. Add Tabasco, Roux, bouillon cubes, Cajun seasoning, long grain rice and clear soup, season with pepper to taste. Bring to a boil and simmer on low heat for about 20 minutes. Season to taste, mix well and bring to the table.

If you like, you can stir chopped spring onions into the long-grain rice. With hard-boiled quartered eggs, diced ham or chopped cooked chicken, boiled crab tails and red beans, it makes Dirty Rice a satisfying main meal

Cajun vegetables: 1 large onion, 1 green bell pepper, 2 short stalks of celery. Remove the peel from the vegetables, clean and finely chop them. Yields about 500-600g.

Cajun spices: 1 tbsp garlic powder, 1 tbsp onion powder, 2 tsp white pepper, 2 tsp coarsely ground black pepper, 1 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper, 2 tsp dried thyme, 1/2 tsp dried oregano Mix all ingredients and keep in a spice jar.
