For the dough, first heat the milk (must not get too hot!) and crumble in the yeast. Add 1 tablespoon sugar. Mix with the flour and let rise for about 45 minutes.

Then add the other ingredients and knead into a smooth dough. Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes.

Line a baking tray with baking paper.

Form about 20 balls of the same size from the dough. The best way to do this is to first form it into a roll and then cut off slices of equal width. Then put the Powidl on them and close them into balls. Place the booklets together on the baking sheet to form an Easter lamb (see photo). For the eye, press a raisin into the head ball. Cover the beech balls and let them rise for another 30 minutes.

In the meantime preheat the oven to 160 °C.

Whisk the milk with the egg yolk and brush the buns with it. Place in the oven and bake for about 40 minutes.
