A simple but delicious cake recipe:
Knead a smooth dough with butter, sugar, flour, salt and water. In a cake springform pan (approx. 26 cm ø), flatten the dough and raise the edge 2 cm.
For the filling, bring the milk to the boil. Mix in semolina or long-grain rice and make until the porridge separates from the edge of the pan. Add the ingredients one by one. Cool the mixture a little bit, then fold in stiffly beaten egg white. Form on the bottom of the dough. Bake patties for 1/2 hour on the middle rack until golden brown, cover with aluminum foil and leave on the lowest oven rack for another 5 min.
