For the eggnog, slit the vanilla bean lengthwise and scrape out the pulp. Pour the milk into a pot, add the vanilla bean and pulp, star anise and honey. Heat, stirring constantly to prevent the milk from sticking. Remove vanilla bean and star anise.

Beat the cream until stiff. Stir the eggnog into the hot milk, then fold in the cream.

Pour the Eierlikörpunsch into mugs or fireproof glasses and serve immediately.
