For the elderberry and pear jam, sort and wash the elderberries. Peel the pears, remove the core and cut the fruit into small cubes, mix with the berries.

Squeeze the lemon and add the juice, some grated peel and the aniseed to the fruit.

Mix the jelling powder with 2 tablespoons of sugar, add to the fruit, stir until boiling, add the remaining sugar, continue stirring and cook on the stove for 1 minute.

Fill the elderberry-pear jam hot into sterile jars and close tightly.
