For the fafalle with mushrooms and nuts, cook the pasta in salted water. Chop walnuts and roast in a pan without fat, remove.

Sauté the mushrooms in olive oil, add the garlic, deglaze with wine and let simmer. Add whipped cream, salt and pepper and let it cook a little more.

Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and mix with the nuts and chopped chives.

Serve the fafalle with mushrooms and nuts on warmed plates.
