Instructions:

For falafel, first whisk the onion with the pressed garlic clove as well as the bean and chickpea meal (both from health food stores or Turkish stores). Chop the coriander and leek into fine strips and add to the mixture. Add enough tap water to make a loose, smooth dough. Season with the spices.

Form small balls and fry the falafel in hot oil until golden brown.
