Instructions:

Preheat the kitchen stove to 180 °C.

Rub an ovenproof baking dish with oil. Carefully cut the fennel lengthwise into thin slices. Immediately sprinkle with a little juice of one lemon and layer in the baking dish. Season with salt and pepper. Spread cheese in pieces evenly on top. Pour the cream over it. Bake in the middle of the oven for twenty minutes.

Before serving: Preheat oven broiler. Grill the gratin under the broiler for approx.

ten minutes.
