For the purchase: The cost of the ingredients is about nine to ten euros.

Place the mince, finely diced feta cheese, two finely diced tomato ketchup, egg, shallots, mustard, cumin and a good handful of finely chopped spinach in a large enough bowl and knead. Season with pepper & salt to taste. Form about 20 small (egg-sized) meat loafs from this quantity. Roast for about three minutes on each side. Place on paper towel to drain excess fat. In a large saucepan, sauté in a little bit of oil a shallot cut into small pieces and the garlic pressed through, then add the washed spinach, fall together, mix well, pour off the liquid, season with salt, season with pepper and maybe add a piece of butter.

Heat the meatballs in the oven one more time and serve them on the spinach. Serve with diced potatoes or ciabatta bread.

Tip: Did you know that one bowl of spinach provides almost all the manganese and fiber you need?
