Instructions:

For the fish-bread casserole, cut tomatoes into cubes. Cut bread rolls into thin slices.

Wash fish fillets, dab dry and season with lemon juice, salt and pepper on both sides.

Brush casserole dish with olive oil, cover the bottom with the diced tomatoes and lightly salt. Place fish fillets on top of tomatoes, sprinkle capers on top and cover with bread slices.

Whisk milk with eggs, garlic, basil, salt and pepper and pour over the bread slices.

Leave to stand for about 10 minutes. Preheat oven to 200°C top and bottom heat. Bake the fish-bread casserole for about 30 minutes.
