Cut the red and black pressed sausage into cubes of about 2 cm, and the liver sausage into slices. Cut the peeled potatoes into even cubes and chop the peeled onions.

Heat the lard in a large frying pan, fry the onion until translucent, then pour in the prepared ingredients and fry, turning frequently, until the potatoes are browned. Then add the diced gherkins and heat briefly.

Mix the eggs, season with salt and pepper, add to the frying pan and fry until dry and crumbly. Bring the roasted eggs to the table in the frying pan.

Serve with enough coleslaw with chopped cabbage or possibly caraway seeds in a vinegar-oil marinade.

Tip: Always salt the liver at the very end so that it does not become tough.
