Instructions:

For homemade cherry-lime water ice, first boil the sugar, water, fresh bay leaf and basil, let cool and strain.

Then add the lemon juice, cherry juice, and the juice and zest of the limes.

Freeze in a flachen dish or tray, repeatedly using a fork to finely poke – “crush” – the ice cream as it becomes.

Serve homemade cherry-lime water ice ice ice cold.
