Let the yeast dissolve in the milk. Prepare a smooth dough together with spices, sugar, flour, eggs and butter. Cover and let rest until doubled in volume.
Set aside some of the dough for garnishing. Knead the washed raisins into the remaining dough and form the number of balls indicated above. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Shape remaining dough into thin rolls. Score a cross about 7 mm deep in each roll and fill with dough roll pieces. Mix egg yolk with a little water and brush the rolls with it. let rise for half an hour.
Bake in the heated oven for about 20 minutes.
