Instructions:

For the naan breads, add 1/2 tablespoon sugar and the yeast to the milk. Dissolve and let stand a little so that it begins to foam.

In a bowl, mix the flour with the baking powder and salt. Briefly whisk the yogurt with the egg until creamy.

Add the remaining sugar and milk, and the yogurt-egg mixture to the flour and knead into a smooth dough.

In a large bowl, add 1 tsp oil and roll the dough ball in it. Let rise in a warm place for at least 1 hour.

Form small balls from the dough (no bigger than a fist) and roll out very flat. In the meantime, put some oil in a frying pan and let it get very hot.

Briefly fry the dough patty in the pan (be careful, it goes very fast) and fry from the other side also until crispy.

Then turn the temperature down a little. The naan breads rise very much in the pan.
