Instructions:

Sift flour, salt and baking powder into a large enough bowl. Add butter in flakes. Knead with milk until a smooth dough. Leave to rest in the fridge for 15 minutes.

Preheat the kitchen stove to 250 °C (gas mark 6).

Roll out the dough on a floured work surface to a thickness of 2 cm. Cut out round pieces (5 cm ø) with a glass. Place on baking tray and rest for 5 min. Brush with milk. Place in the heated oven on the top shelf. Bake for 10 minutes at constant heat.

Cut in half while still warm and eat with strawberry jam and/or whipped cream.
