Instructions:

Mix flour, yeast, salt, sugar and water and knead well. It should become an elastic and not sticky dough. If necessary, knead in additional flour. Cover the dough and let it rise until it has doubled in size (about 1 hour).

Divide the dough into 8 pieces and roll them out with a rolling pin into round or oval rolls. Place the rolls on a baking tray lined with baking paper and let them rise for another 30 minutes, covered with a clean kitchen towel.

Preheat the oven to 250 °C.

Bake the rolls for about 10-12 minutes. From the 8th minute, keep checking to make sure the rolls are not getting too brown.

The rolls can be served while still warm.
