Try this delicious cake recipe:

Briefly toast almond kernels and nuts in a frying pan while stirring.

Cool and chop coarsely. Chop the figs and candied fruit into small cubes, place in a large enough bowl and mix into the nuts with the spices.

Place the powdered sugar and honey in a metal bowl in the water bath.

Stir constantly at a low temperature until the mixture melts and starts to form threads. Now cool a tiny bit while stirring.

Stir honey solution into prepared nut-fruit mixture and stir in 1-2 tbsp flour. Butter a shallow baking pan (square or round, respectively, according to wafers), pour in the dough, spread it smoothly to a height of 2 cm.

Bake in a heated oven (electric oven 150 °C – gas mark 1 – convection oven 130 °C) for about half an hour.

Cool. Dust thinly with powdered sugar and cinnamon to garnish.
