For the Kaiserschmarrn put the sour cream in a bowl, separate the eggs. Beat the egg whites until stiff. Soak the raisins in a little water.

Add yolks, flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar and salt to the sour cream and mix with a whisk, fold in beaten egg whites. Add the raisins. Heat butter in a pan, pour in batter and fry over not too high heat.

Quarter with a shovel and turn, when the second side is fried nice and light brown tear the Schmarren into pieces with 2 forks. Sprinkle with sugar.
