For the marigold liqueur, let the marigolds dry a little. Cut the orange into slices and put them with the marigolds in a large screw-top glass.

Put the sugar and spices on top, pour the vodka over it. Close the jar and put it in a sunny place. Shake occasionally so that the sugar dissolves.

Let it stand for at least 3 months. If it stands longer, it will have a more intense taste. Strain the marigold liqueur and bottle it.
