Instructions:

For the grilled steaks, rinse the green onion and chop finely. Peel the garlic clove and also chop finely.

For the marinade, put the juice and 1 tsp. grated peel of the pepper, lime, honey, ginger, soy sauce, spring onions, garlic and butter in a saucepan and simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes.

Strain everything through a fine sieve and reduce the collected liquid until you get a syrupy consistency.

Season the steaks with salt and pepper, brush them with the marinade, let them marinate in the refrigerator for one night and cook them on the broiler the following day.
