Knead all ingredients well and form into a roll. Cut off about 10 g of heavy dough, fill with dried plums or figs and form into balls. Heat the orange marmalade, coat the balls in it and then roll them in brittle crumbs. For the brittle, caramelize granulated sugar in dry hot pan, mix with coarsely chopped nuts, almonds or pumpkin seeds. Spread mixture on an oiled baking sheet, spread flat and let cool or harden. Finely chop, mince or possibly grind in a food processor.
