Masaman Curry – Muslim Curry Gäng Masaman
Preparation in about 35 min
Cut chicken into strips, dice onions. Roast cardamon seeds and cinnamon stick in a frying pan or wok for about 8 min. Heat the chili paste and half of the coconut milk in a saucepan and bring to a simmer. Add the meat and cook until tender, about 10 min. Add the rest of the coconut milk and bring to the boil. Add all remaining ingredients and simmer again for 10 minutes. Remove the cardamon seeds, cinnamon stick and bay leaves and serve.
Tip: Serve with long-grain rice as a side dish.
