For the matcha cake, mix flour with baking powder and sift. Add tea and 100 g sugar. Preheat the oven to 160 °C.

Separate two eggs and beat egg whites with remaining sugar until stiff. Mix flour, baking powder, matcha and 100 g sugar in a bowl.

Beat yolks, egg, oil in food processor until foamy and add milk. Sift in flour mixture.

If mixture becomes too firm, thin with a little more milk. Carefully fold in beaten egg whites. Line baking sheet or cake pan with parchment paper and grease and dust with flour.

Pour in cake mixture and bake for half an hour (test with a stick).
