Instructions:

Cut the tomatoes into quarters. Bring water to a boil in a pot and cook the tomatoes briefly. Then strain them with a spatula.

Finely chop the onion and garlic and fry in oil. Add strained tomatoes, tomato paste and a little water, season and simmer for a few minutes.

For the meatballs, mix well minced meat with breadcrumbs, chopped onion, egg and spices. Form balls from the mixture and fry them in olive oil on all sides.

Add the meatballs to the sauce and simmer for a few minutes.

Arrange the meatballs in tomato sauce and serve.
