For the orange applesauce, peel the apples and cut away the core. Place apple pieces in a saucepan. Thinly peel washed, dried oranges.
Add orange peel to apples. Then squeeze oranges and add juice to apples as well. Add vanilla sugar and cover and bring to a boil once. Turn the heat down to low and simmer until the apples are soft.
Finely puree everything also serve the orange peel and orange applesauce.
