Try this delicious cake recipe:

(*) Cake springform pan of about 26 cm ø.

Put the yogurt in a suitable bowl. Gradually add the eggs and salt and beat until smooth.

Using a hand mixer, beat the sugar, butter, vanilla sugar and baking powder until creamy. Sprinkle in the semolina, add the egg cream and mix until smooth.

Line the bottom of the cake springform pan with parchment paper and butter well. Sprinkle with semolina. Pour in the yogurt semolina mixture and spread until smooth.

Meanwhile, bake the cake in the oven heated to 160 °C on the second rack from the bottom for forty-five to fifty minutes. Cool in the pan for ten minutes.

In the meantime, bring orange juice and sugar to a boil and boil over high heat to about 150 ml (for 125 ml orange juice + 100 g sugar). Perfume with orange flower water if desired.

While still warm, generously drizzle the cake with the syrup and cool in the mold. To serve, cut the cake into lozenges or cubes.

The cake will keep fresh, well wrapped, in the refrigerator for up to a week.
